DRIVEN TO EXPLORE

In April 2026, as NASA’s Artemis II sent Astronaut Christina Koch on a historic journey around the Moon, Astrobiologist and Future Mars Astronaut Alyssa Carson embarked on a parallel real-time road trip adventure across America — from the launch in Cape Canaveral to splashdown in San Diego — meeting with trailblazing women in space and science whose stories mirror and empower the mission unfolding above.

Throughout the real-time 10 day, 600,000 mile journey to the Moon and back, Alyssa opens up the world of STEM and space travel to the next generation of explorers, dreamers, and doers with every mile that she drives on Earth below.
