DESCRIPTION

LOSING SIGHT OF SHORE follows the extraordinary journey of four brave women known as the Coxless Crew that set out to row the Pacific Ocean from America to Australia unsupported. As they row over 8,000 miles during their nine months at sea, they face extreme mental and physical challenges they must overcome in order to go down in history. This is a story of perseverance, friendship and the power of the human spirit. Everyone has a Pacific to cross.

  • Available on Netflix worldwide - 190 countries, 25 languages.

  • Sarah organized a World Tour with the Coxless Crew in May of 2017 in the US, England and South Africa.

  • "Best of the Fest" Adventure Travel Film Festival

  • Sarah was able to pay her investors back entirely with the sale of this film.

THE EMPOWERMENT PROJECT is the incredible journey of a crew of female filmmakers driving across America to encourage, empower, and inspire the next generation of strong women to go after their career ambitions. The film challenges the audience to ask themselves, "What would you do if you weren't afraid to fail?"

  • Screened over 700 times around the world in schools, groups, and organizations.

  • Sponsored by major brands Nordstrom, American Girl, Microsoft and Charles Schwab to spread this message far and wide.

  • Part of the American Film Showcase, Sarah traveled to Russia and Djibouti in Africa to show the film and teach workshops about filmmaking.

  • National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Chicago/Midwest Chapter Emmy Nominee for Best Documentary 2016

  • Gracies Award Winner 2015 - Outstanding Documentary and Outstanding Director

NEVERTHELESS examines the social, legal, historical and masculinity aspects of the sexual harassment crisis in America interwoven with personal stories and calls to action for change. It's up to all of us to work towards solutions to this endemic problem. Nevertheless we persist.
